Her background at a glance

Dr. Sharon Webb J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School, earned this degree while simultaneously practicing surgery and advising about the interface between technology and patent law. She also holds a Ph.D. from Yale, a Master’s in Biomedical Ethics from Harvard, and an M.D. from Duke, including research in biomedical engineering. Her academic path began with a B.A. with High Distinction from the University of Virginia in biology, religion, and philosophy,where she was a Phi Beta Kappa scholar and athlete.
